iPad Training Programs

A growing healthcare company is harnessing its culture of innovation, discovery and teamwork to create lifesaving medications.  In order to compete with larger companies in these areas, it hired a new but seasoned field sales team just six months prior to the expected FDA approval of its drug. As part of its overall blended learning approach, the field training and development team created an immersive onboarding program that addressed brand values and culture, disease state and clinical data, compliance, legal and regulatory considerations, selling approaches, as well as new information about the standards of care.

At the launch preparation meeting, TBA Global created a delivery platform that drove home the company’s culture of innovation and efficiency by using the newest productivity tool – the iPad – to engage the sales team and deliver information, receive feedback, track content comprehension, score responses and provide real time evaluation data to the regional sales managers.  This custom app also contained all logistical information for the meeting to keep attendees up to date and informed regarding schedules, breakout room assignments and activities.

The iPad platform was fully integrated throughout the training meeting, allowing regional sales managers and training specialists to assess strengths and weaknesses of clinical and disease state comprehension in real time. Based on that information, content emphasis could be calibrated accordingly. Gaming features within the branded iPad app created an engaging, enthusiastic competition as the sales team saw their scores posted in real time on a scrolling leaderboard.
