We helped a leading information technology client make its annual summit event more effective by using technology and social media to increase executive networking opportunities.
From a social networking component at registration, to blogs and online videos, we collected user-generated content to make a business meeting more effective before, during, and after the event.
Registration data drove attendee assignments for dine-arounds and other group activities to place people with similar professional interests together. On-site, interactive badges were preloaded with personalized agendas and then utilized as an Audience Response System during the sessions.
To encourage networking, the badges would “talk” to each other when attendees with similar interests came in close proximity, sparking attendee conversations.
Afterwards, technology-instigated contacts made at the Summit were reinforced with further communications, keeping the messages fresh and continuing the dialog.
