WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 29, 2007) - Experiential marketing leader TBA Global has announced two key executive appointments that further strengthen the company's presence in the Washington, DC area. Effective January 10th, Gabrielle Malman was appointed General Manager of the Washington, DC office and Rebecca Saat was promoted to the role of Director of Operations in Washington, DC.
"With the addition of Gabrielle, whose experience spans a spectrum from the White House to corporate event planning, and the promotion of Rebecca, who has been a valuable asset for TBA since she joined us in 2004, we are further strengthening our capabilities in this important event and destination market," states Jeff Kline, Executive Vice President, Business Affairs.
Prior to joining TBA, Ms. Malman was a senior member of the Management of Hayes & Associates, serving as the Director of Special Events. Her other work experience has included President of O2 Events, a full-service Marketing and Brand agency. She has also worked for The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, has served in the White House under former President Clinton early in his first term and again as Deputy Social Secretary to Vice President and Mrs. Gore. Ms. Malman has worked extensively with corporate and non-profit clients including Lockheed Martin, Siemens, American Red Cross, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, Discovery Channel and General Electric, managing high-profile events ranging from movie premiers to million-dollar fund raising galas to concerts on the lawn of the US Capitol.
Ms. Saat joined TBA from SPW Productions, a comprehensive event management, production and marketing promotion agency in Philadelphia, PA. During her tenure at TBA, she has produced numerous events for Harvard Business School, Allstate Insurance, Philadelphia Magazine, FOX News Channel, Wachovia, Goldman Sachs, The American Bar Association, Prudential Financial, John Hancock, Duke Energy, MetLife, Alticor/Amway and the USS Battleship New Jersey.
