LOS ANGELES, CA - TBA Global brought the house down in Washington, DC this past January 18, 2005. Working hand in hand with the 2005 Presidential Inaugural Committee, TBA Global produced the non-partisan concert "America's Future Rocks Today," as part of President Bush's inaugural celebration. Recognized as leaders in producing corporate events, TBA Global's team of Creative Directors, Executive Producers, Producers, Associate Producers and Designers were chosen specifically to put together "America's Future Rocks Today." Created to heighten the awareness of community service and the need for volunteers across the United States, "America's Future Rocks Today" brought leaders in outreach programs and diverse musical entertainment to an audience of prospective volunteers.
The entire event was created by TBA in under 30 days and generated spectacular results. "We are thrilled with the results of the "America's Future Rocks Today" event," states TBA Vice President, National Accounts, Kevin Underwood. "The event was created to infuse America's youth with the spirit of community and the importance of volunteerism, underscoring the message expressed by the Bush administration. They asked us to deliver that message and we did just that; deliver that moment, that connection."
Gordon James, Deputy Director for Inaugural Events of of the Presidential Inaugural Committee, added, "TBA Global saw the challenge of putting together "America's Future Rocks Today" and worked very close with the First Family as well as our Inaugural Committee to create an outstanding event. It's not the first time I've had the pleasure of working with Mr. Underwood and his team. TBA is an intricate part of creating a successful event of this magnitude."
TBA produced "America's Future Rocks Today" and secured today's hottest performers to participate in the show, including rockers 3 Doors Down, teen sensation Hilary Duff, R&B crooner Ruben Studdard, the edgy alt-rock band Fuel, singer/songwriter Ryan Cabrera and pop vocalist JoJo. During the celebration, center stage was handed to President Bush who, along with the First Lady, encouraged attendee's to participate in volunteer programs. Additional highlights include the performances by dance troupe Live Lab, as well as video messages from recognized leaders such as racer Dale Earnhardt Jr. A number of high profile celebrities participated as hosts/hostesses during the concert including: Nancy O'Dell of Access Hollywood, Kelly Perdew from The Apprentice, Jason Sehorn from former NFL cornerback, actor Stephen Baldwin and Ms. America 2003, Erika Harold.
In addition, TBA created a full-fledged party atmosphere within a special event tent called the Volunteer Interactive Pavilion - V.I.P. This V.I.P tent kept the spirit of the celebration alive with interactive kiosks, arcade games, and booths featuring 24 different community service organizations as well as significant US charities. The tent buzzed with educational information as well as the music of DJ Mike Messex.
