How long has TBA operated in this destination?

Although we just celebrated our 5th anniversary at the Banff office, we have actually had a presence in the Rocky Mountains for over 12 years, working with clients to produce outstanding, adventurous programs in the wilds of Banff National Park!

Meetings can be fun too……

Banff is a perfect setting for corporate meetings and retreats. Our experts will plan and execute your meeting in the morning, followed by fun activities in the afternoon, and finish with a good ‘ol Western BBQ and some country dancing. Banff, Lake Louise, and Kananaskis offer great resorts with meeting facilities to fit your every need. The two Landmark Hotels – The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and Banff Springs – offer unique mountain heritage programs and themed activities to balance out your meetings, the Banff Springs with over 76,000 sq. feet of meeting space. There are also many other hotels in the area to offer the boutique experience for smaller groups.

Your program will be specifically developed based on your objectives and the demographics of your group, resulting in a conference that will exceed both your expectations and those of your delegates. We pride ourselves in our ability to make your meeting fun!

Our Brief on Banff:

  • Banff is the perfect destination for an “Elevation Celebration” program: the Town of Banff has an elevation of 4,537 feet (1,383 metres) making it the highest town in Canada.
  • Upon completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway, Banff was established in 1885 as Canada's first National Park. Can you imagine an event themed “The Last Spike”?
  • Banff has in excess of 1,600 kilometres (1,000 miles) of hiking trails. Bring your hiking boots and camel pack...
  • Castleguard caves in the Northwest corner of Banff are Canada's longest cave system. Bet you have never gone caving before!
  • Banff's peak season is July and August. The best time for incentive programs and conferences to visit is in the late Spring or early Fall. But winter has its perks too.
  • Banff has in excess of 2,468 campsites – but we don’t expect you’ll be using them with numerous gorgeous hotel properties available in Banff, Kananaskis and Lake Louise.
  • The Town of Banff has a population of just 7,500. Your program will be the big fish in the little pond.
  • The famed mountains in Banff National Park are 45 to 120 million years old. As a special gift to incentive winners, give an exclusive crystal glass casting taken from an actual 65 million year old Alberta ammonite fossil.
  • Banff National Park has in excess of 1,000 glaciers. Take a snow coach tour of one of them!

What is there to do in Banff that is not to be missed?

In the winter, board or ski the slopes of nearby Sunshine Mountain, Ski Lake Louise or Mount Norquay. Or, dog sled through pristine, snow covered forest then ice skate on frozen Lake Louise, surrounded by towering mountains and the glorious Chateau Lake Louise. In the evening, enjoy a hot toddy while you glide along in a horse drawn sleigh, then enjoy a private party at a ski lodge – a truly Canuck day.

In the summer outdoor activity options are too numerous to name! River raft down raging torrents of water or horseback ride along dusty trails. Hike through meadows covered in wildflowers or relax in the hot springs that made Banff famous. Then head out to a nearby ranch for a private rodeo followed by a down-home style BBQ dinner. Cap the evening off by kicking up your heels to some country music!

What’s hot?

Banff’s creative scene! Banff's arts and entertainment scene offers something for everyone, from an evening of high culture onstage at the Banff Centre, to a night of dancing to live music at a favourite pub. Visitors alike are delighted by the quantity, diversity and calibre of performing arts and entertainment attractions, especially considering Banff's small size and population. Let us entertain you!
