How long has TBA Global operated in this Destination?

TBA Global has been operating in New York for over 28 years - in fact, we just won an ISES Award nomination for a recent program!

Why is New York a great destination for corporate meetings and incentive?

One city, five boroughs, unlimited options - museum exhibitions, Broadway shows, musical events, sightseeing, fashion, cultural events, world class hotels and restaurants, shopping galore… New York City is the ideal destination for an incentive trip or corporate meeting.

What are the best things to see and do in New York?

New York City is a natural destination for corporate events and teambuilding because the entertainment is built in! Some of my picks:

- Top of the Rock Observation Center
- Empire State Building
- Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island
- Broadway Theatre
- Rockefeller Center
- Greenwich Village/SOHO
- Chinatown/ Little Italy
- Central Park
- Museums – American Museum of Natural History, MET, MOMA

Tell us about some unique and creative ideas?

Many adults are making return trips to New York City, so it is important to create events that really "wow" your attendees. We like to show the best of the city, with an exclusive twist by adding experiences that the average tourist can't see themselves.

- Pre-theatre reception with “behind the music” production with original cast of Jersey Boys

- Lower East side walking tour with ethnic culinary tastings (where the locals go) combine with Lower East Side Tenement Museum

- Personal tour of Greek revival townhouse owned by local celebrity and Greenwich Village celebrity culinary walking tour

Tell us about an unusual venue?

New York has so many, but I just love the Rooftop Garden at the Rockefeller Center’s British Empire Building. We stage a lot of events there, and it is just breathtaking with its views of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Fifth Avenue and Rockefeller Center. The stone pathways, manicured hedges and reflecting pool offer an ideal location for cocktail receptions while the SOHO style interior provides a blank canvas for any corporate or social event.

When is the high season?

For corporate events - March through June, and September through December.

What’s Hot?

Shakespeare in the Park
Hamlet – Delacorte Theatre in Central Park

Don’t Miss:

The New York City Waterfalls – a monumental scale public art installation conceived by the Danish/Icelandic artist Olafur Eliassa – June 26 – October 15.
