One of the world’s largest automotive companies called us to connect their brand with a young adult audience in order to showcase its new, fully-integrated voice activated in-car communication and entertainment system.

We created “Kim and Seana”, a fresh new web series about two young singer/songwriters who take to the road to discover music, new opportunities and themselves.

Loosely scripted, “Kim and Seana” plays out in a series of blogs, photos and short videos captured against a backdrop of real people, places and artists. The story kicked off at New York City’s CMJ music festival, with friends Kim and Seana covering the event, checking out performances from some of the hottest emerging artists and up-and-coming bands. From New York, the characters took their story on the road, with their first stop in Chicago to see one of the bands they met at CMJ. From Chicago, Kim and Seana headed south to cover the Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tenn. Fresh content was created, some scripted and some spontaneous - where fiction collided with real world as the girls followed the music scene across the country.

The series can be viewed on 40+ planned online channels, including a dedicated msn channel and Kim and Seana's MySpace page.

Results:

500,000+ views during the 13 weeks that the webisodes were produced and aired. These video views were a result of both placement of the downloadable Kim & Seana widget on MySpace, and influencer outreach to music industry bloggers and management.

+ 1,000,000 views based on a two-week media buy on a specialized content distribution site.

+ 1,000,000 additional views AFTER the widget was removed from the distribution site – based purely on pass-along from other viewers.
