In order to launch the most beloved ice cream manufacturer's new product, we set out to reach targeted consumers by sampling the premium in 3 major markets: New York, Chicago and San Francisco.

We trained street teams on the brand and new product, then declared "Random Acts of Cone-ness" Week in each of the major cities. Our street teams distributed the tasty treat to cool down consumers via roaming Cone Samaritans, at the Cone Zone - a pop up street location or via our Cone Messengers who delivered Cone-O-Grams to lucky family members and friends. We also visited local firehouses, police stations, children's hospitals, construction sites, commuter trains and other mass transit locations.

This large scale sampling program resulted in over 50,000 samples delivered in each market in just five days, and created national awareness and buzz through coverage on CNN, ESPN, national and local newspapers and industry trade magazines.
